Jane Hollingsworth is an exit strategy expert. The co-founder and CEO of NuPathe, has successfully taken 2 biotechnology companies public. NuPathe, a specialty pharmaceutical company, completed its Initial Public Offering in August 2010. Before founding NuPathe, as co-founder and former Executive Vice President of Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Hollingsworth helped shepherd the company from start-up, through its initial public offering and raised well over $100 million - all within its first 5 years.
Jane Hollingsworth will share her experiences from start-up to exit and the partnering, licensing and pipeline development lessons she learned along the way.
In January 2011, the FDA accepted NuPathe’s New Drug Application for Zelrix, a transdermal patch for the treament of migraines. Ms. Hollingsworth has assembled a management team responsible for more than 25 new drug applications and 11 products focused on innovating through underserved markets. Throughout Ms. Hollingworth’s tenure, NuPathe has had investments made by Quaker BioVetures, SR One, Safeguard Scientifics, BioAdvance and Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
