March 30 2011 4:00pm - April 1 2011 8:00pm Local Time Presented by:

What Works! will bring together practitioners, researchers, educators, and decision-makers to explore the opportunities and challenges inherent in promoting entrepreneurship as a vehicle for rural economic development in the northeast. Together we will learn new skills, celebrate our successes an explore new possibilities for collaboration across institutional and political boundaries. We anticipte that this event will be the first step in the development of a new regional plan of work that capitalizes on our many strengths, provides opportunities for future research and serves as a tool for leveraging resources in the coming years.
What Works! will be held March 30 – April 1, 2011 in Philadelphia, PA. The conference will be preceded by a series of online presentations designed to stimulate thinking about entrepreneurship as an economic development strategy.
